And the Creative STAR blog was begun.

Over 4 billion nano seconds ago! Well it was Monday 4th August 2008 to be precise. I'm transferring over the course of the next few months a lot of my blog posts to this website.

After much humming and haa-ing I decided to give this a go as I am passionate about outdoor learning and wanted greater opportunities to talk with other educators, outdoor professionals and everyone else on any outdoor matter. Three and a half years later on and I'm delighted to say that this has been the situation. I never realised what a supportive community of bloggers existed.

The title was a mixture of inspiration from the TV show and the Fatface T-Shirts which say "A bad day on the water is better than a good day in the office". This got me thinking as to whether I'd prefer to be outside or inside with a class when things aren't going as well as planned or things happen which certainly weren't planned. I hear you nodding wisely...yes you've been there and worn that T-shirt too!

As well as T-shirts, I wear many hats, but that's for another posting!
